I'm new to the forums, and very excited to be here. I've been reading the forums for a while, and I just registered. I've been practicing magic for more than a year and a half (mostly card stuff) and I just recently became a coin magic addict. Anyway, my question is: where do you buy your Chinese coins? I have one nice set, but I don't really want to use those for practicing. I also don't want to carry them around in my pocket all day either. Is there anywhere where you can buy inexpensive Chinese coins? They don't have to be great quality. I just want something I can carry around with me in my wallet. So far all the Chinese coins that I've seen for sale at magic shops have been pretty expensive ($8 each). Thanks.

Probably not the greatest of quality, but extremely cheap.

ooh, I've never used a chinese coin before, I'm tempted to buy one just for the patter you could use with it .

These seem good by the picture and the reviews and are relatively cheap. I too am looking for chinese coins to use.

I use a chinese coin and a double-faced coin (Half-Dollar/English-Penny) in a one-handed triple-spellbound move. Just when the audience gets an idea of what's going on a chinese coin shows up. The hole in the middle give the audience the a view behind the coin. I also hand the chinese coin out for examination.
