This is a post I made in a thread just five or six below this one called "coin dvd"
Quote:
I have both of David Stone's dvd's on coins and all three of David Roth's dvd's on coins. I highly recommend both. Here is my equation for a strong foundation in coin magic. Start with Expert coin magic made easy volume one along with Bobo's book. once you've got that material down get Expert Coin Magic Made easy volume two along with David Stone's "Basic coin magic" volume one. Once you've mastered that pick up Expert coin magic volume three along with David Stone's "Coin Magic" Volume two.
After that you will have a very strong foundation in coin magic. You can then move on to stuff like Revolutionary coin magic by jay sankey (which is also great) and if you are looking for really advanced stuff you can get into stuff by Curtis Kam, Reed Mclintock, Shoot Ogawa, Apollo Robbins, Kainoa Harbottle Gary Kurtz and Roth's more advanced stuff etc.
Hope I could help.
So basically start off with Roth's first dvd

Stone's dvd's aren't essential if you are going to get roth's stuff but I really enjoyed both of his dvd's. And there is quite a bit to be learned from him. He is a very skilled coin magician. And a very skilled all around magician.
As far as "J.B. Bobo's Modern Coin Magic" goes. It's a great suppliment to any coin dvd you get. It's kind of a must have as far as coins go. It's only like 8 bucks and it jam packed with information. There's a reason that its called the coin bible. Even if you never read the whole thing (which I doubt many do) it's one of the best refrences you can have.
Good Luck.
