what coin gimmicks are needed? what ones are necessary?

Just what ARE the popular gimmicks that people use a lot and often.
i like the 2 copper silver gimmick, and expanded shells what else is there?

you might find yourself in trouble (or not even get very far) in coin magic without a purse. i dont reccomend the real mans coin wallet. I have the kind that has the inside locking mechanism and it works really good for me. it doesent have that kind of memory like alot of them do. you can fill it up with coins and it wont take shape.

The two that are used most often are the ones that you already posted. The shell and a copper silver set. But I already told you that. There are other's that are used but when you are starting out you will find those two used most often.

I don't use gimmicks because the gimmicks for the coins in my country are really expensive and they look fake.
BUT!
I would really like to use a coin shell, especially for 3 coin flurries.

I love the Copper Silver (C/S) coin and an expanded shell. My C/S is made from Jamie Schoolcraft in a Walking Liberty and King George Penny. My expanded shell is from Nathan Kranzo in a clad Kennedy half. I also really like my flipper coin.

Another gaff that doesn't get too much attention is David Roth's Eraser Coin. This is a great effect that plays well. I also use a Karate Coin for Joel Givins' Ninja Coin.

Nathan Kranzo's shells ARE really good. I got two of the new ones he sells for 20 dollars. the ones with the indents of the coin on both sides. and roths eraser is fantastic too. with a one handed switch and a normal half dollar this does wonders! too bad penguin doesent sell it. i got mine at a magic flea market

Yeah i will have to say that a coin worker don't need gimmick coins....

slight of hand with coins is the only thing you need... oneday you do a gimmick trick with coins for some body... and a week later thay say ''do that trick again'' and thay hand you a random coin... because every body has coins and it's so easy to just show..
