Does anybody knwo where I can find a good flash coins routine? I know Nathan Kranzo has one as does Eric Jones, But I cannot find a performance for Nathan's version and I am not too fond of Eric's although it is really good. I dont like using the exposed pieces of flash paper that make no sense really.

do you know wheter or not nathan's uses exposed peices of flash paper? I would imagine so. I don't see anything conceptually wrong with using exposed pieces of flash paper.

It doesent really make it magical. I have no idea if Nate uses exposed pieces of paper. I would rather have it more magical by just making the coin comburst rather than a piece of paper that burns to maybe hide something by the fire. I have not seen a video but I saw his trick where the match is put into the hand and it bursts into flames and a hot sauce packet is produced.

Can you post a video of the routine by Jones pehaps?

hey....just wanted you to know that there are several ways to disguise the "exposed flash paper" issue.

The most effective way was shared with me by John Gustaferro. John suggested that I get a rubberstamp that has a customizable fortune on it. Then cut the flash paper into strips and present them as if they were fortunes collected from fortune cookies. You can create your own motivation for the fortune cookies, and I won't disclose my own, but there's one great start.

But here's my thing. Why do you need any other reason for the flash paper other than calling it wish paper? You place a wish on the paper for just about anything you want and when the paper burns it turns into what you wish for? I have actually started my act by producing a Barbie doll because someone always asks for a woman, a toy car because someone always wishes for one, and when it comes to be my turn, I ask for money. Perfect segway into my routine......

It's just basically a stamp, made out of rubber. Then you have it custom made somewhere online, to have a message you want. Make it about the size of a fortune. If you really want to use the idea, it's on John Gustaferro's second DVD set.
