I recently was at a show and saw the performer perform an excellent coin trick...but I cannot seem to find it anywhere.

He had a plastic bottle cap (off a soda pop bottle)and a number of quarters (5 I believe). He had quarters in one hand and cap in other. He then put the quarters in the cap, showed the audience the cap with the quarters in it, and we could see the quarters in the cap the whole time. He spread his arms wide apart, shook his hands a bit, and the cap was empty with the quarters in the other hand.

I thought I caught a sleight, but I am not sure. Can someone help me identify this trick? I loved it.

Sounds like a variation on a Boston Box. A Boston Box can be shown full of coins then be manipulated and be seen empty.
