Make no mistake- Dime and Penny is VERY easy to reset. With Scotch and Soda, if you lose the bang ring- you're out of luck. Dime and Penny doesn't need one- an glass will work.

This brings up another question of curiousity. Has anyone ever lost their Scotch and Soda bang ring and used the glass method to separate the coins?

personally i hate the glass method b/c i usually perform in a pool hall and if they want to see the trick again i have to go get a glass and it just takes too long. and they usually ask what withthe glass. if i had a bang ring then i could go to anohter table to get it apart without them thinking anything of it.

You can get Dime and Penny bang rings for about 2 bucks...do a search on google.com for 'bang rings'.

I now have pretty good idea what bang ring is after I see the picture of it.. :)

I think all I gotta do is just save some money and buy it.. 8)
