the last time i was in the states, i went to a bank and was able to get 4 or 5 half dollars. then went to another and got a couple of more. at both banks had to tell them that it is for magic and i really needed them. did a quick trick and told them that it just wasn't as effective with small quarters. she smiled and then went to every teller to find them for me. had to do this twice though.
afterwards, went to k-mart and was able to get a few more.

now i have a question. i was only able to get 3 silver dollars. and those were from a friend who had collected them. where can i find silver dollars.

i will be going to arizona and nevada in december. so if anyone from this area can help me, please let me know

You have to go to full sized bank offices...most large bank offices stock half dollars in rolls like other coins. Those little branch offices don't stock very many half dollars if any. I went to one and they only had 1 half dollar!

Also try coin shops.

banks usually have a little rack with a bunch of american coins to susan b anthony to half dollars they have so many types of coins they want to get rid of so just go there and ask to see wht coins they got exchange

I was looking for some last week. I called my bank and they had none. She says let me call you back. She called me the next morning and said she ordered $500 worth from downtown and I could have all I wanted. If you have any type of relationship with your bank they'll make it happen.

Another place to try are large grocery chains at their customer service counter, ones like Safeway, Kroger, Albertsons. Also Wal Mart or Kmart may have them also.

Dante King doesn't have an online store any more-another store now has his items but I don't see the silver dollars there.
