I have some nice Bicentenial half dollars that my mom got for me. She told me that she just went to the bank and asked. These things have never been circulated and are in perfect condition. So just go to the bank and ask them if they have any, and not a smaller branch, one of the bigger bank offices.

Silver dollars are quite a bit bigger. If you can do a great retention vanish with a silver dollar, people will hit the foor. Remember to retrieve the dollar from the specs ear though. 8)

The reason casinos have money is from the gamblers and unless the gamblers (regular) people have half $ then the casino probably wont. i m trying not to be rude. so dont take this the wrong way

I've almost always returned from Vegas with half dollars. At blackjack, if you bet $5, you get back $12.50 (your original $5 plus 1.5 times your bet) if you get a blackjack. Casinos always have 50 cent pieces to handle that.
