well, if you are interested in coins, seeing as you're in this topic, i would reccomend Modern Coin Magic by J.B. Bobo. that has the most useful information you will ever find. also, it is under ten dollars!

well if you are interested in coin magic, there are several books available. I don't know too much about the subject since i am more involved with cards and close-up....but either get some books on coin magic geared more towards beginners, which shouldn't be too hard to find on this site. Or you might find it more beneficial to go with videos...since you can actually see the trick being performed...Michael Ammars "easy to master money miracles" vol. 1 would be a good start.....also you might want to look into a scotch & soda coin set after you learn some basic moves...you can also pick up one of those "25 amazing tricks with a scotch and soda" videos for an extra ten bucks that will help you with the basics of the coin set...hope this helps

Chrystee, go to your local city, county, or school library and check out books on magic. Check out or buy the "Klutz Book of Magic" or the "Magic for Dummies." These books will get you started and also show you other areas of magic that may have greater interest to you.

Tell your mom and dad that magic does not have to be an expensive hobby, and those books will show you that, and get them involved with your new interest in the world of magic.

Peter

What type of magic are you in to?

Card, coin, close-up, stage, mentalism? :)
