Hello, I was just curious if anyone has seen or can perform Jay Sankey's coins across routine that is on his new DVD. Has anyone seen this DVD? I want to buy it, but am kind of leary from reading some of the reviews. Is it true he pokes fun of Christianity? I was raised in a Christian home, and stick with my beliefs, but I don't want to spend the money on the video if they are insulting comments. I enjoy a great joke as much as anyone, but if it is something that is offensive, could someone let me know? Thanks alot. I really want to learn his coins across routine that is on this video, but not if I am going to be insulted and offended in the process. Somethings just are not worth it. I love Jay Sankey and think he is truly a genius in magic, but any information anyone can pass my way would be appriciated. Thank you.

This thread will help you in regards to the comments  http://www.penguinmagic.com/discuss/vie ... hp?t=36987. If you don't decide to get Revolutionary Coin Magic, then there are other places to learn Mr. Clean Coins Across. It can be be found in The Very Best of Sankey volume three, and Jay's Short and Sweet video.

I have the DVD and think it's great. You learn so much stuff that you will always use. On the other hand, just about everything in the DVD takes a long time of practice. The christianity jokes aren't all that bad, but you just have to ignore them, like I did. You shouldn't let a few comments you can ignore stop you from buying the DVD.

I just got the DVD and I think it's great. Although I am a beginner and I don't think that this is a beginner's DVD, I enjoy it. It's gonna take me a lot of practice to get up to the point where I can do these sleights, but they seem effective and entertaining...from the standpoint of someone who doesn't know much of anything about coin magic.

As far as the questionable material, he doesn't joke about or poke fun at Christ or Christianity at all. He merely mentions Christ in some funny ways. There's a difference there. I do not see this to be offensive material, but then again everyone has their own threshold for that kind of stuff.
