Hi everyone,

I need help with a coin switch. I've got buttercoin and I keep getting caught out when reswitching it. I borrow a coin from someone do the switch (utility switch?) where I pretend to put it in my other hand but really I'm finger palming it and exposing the finger palmed buttercoin from the other hand and it always works. It's when I switch back in order to hand them back their coin that many people notice what I'm doing. Does anyone know a good coin switch with coins from different hands ie. the coin from the right hand to with the coin in the left?

Please post methods not addresses ('you can find a good switch on dvd x' or 'x teaches a good switch in his book...').

Thanks.

Meilechl

If you want a little coin switch, you could try this:

Ask the spec for a coin. Secretly, have the Buttercoin in you right hand. When they hand you the coin, pick it up with your left hand. Pretend to toss it into your right hand, but really palm it. If you do this well, it will seem as if you merely tossed the coin into your right hand.

The Bobo switch doesn't work when the coins ar in different hands. Please anyone help me with a switch that works when coins are in different hands. I do shuttle pass for the first time, I'd like a different one to switch back.

If you don't have Bobo's book, it's a must.

Nothing wrong with the Bobo Switch; your routine can be adapted to use it and it's certainly different than the shuttle pass.

really, what you can do is have the gimmicked coin in your left hand palmed, and the borrowed coin in your right hand between your thumb and middle fingers. now, act like you are putting the borrowed coin in your left hand, but actually palm it. when you open your left hand, the gimmicked coin will be shown, but if you use a little misdirection, no one will even suspect it.

Sorry, I didn't catch the different hands problem.

This is a long shot...but you can have four coins...one palmed in each hand...then perform a one handed switch in each hand...hence reversing the coins. That is a lot of work though. David Roth speaks on this switch a bit.

Flying Shuttle.
Keep the coin palmed in the right and pretend to throw it to the left.
