Well it si not too hard to do the effects. Some take practise but it's like that with any trick. This was the first coin video I got and I had no trouble doing the effects. They were a bit tricky but it was a peice of cake after a bit of practise. He has some pretty advanced stuff on there, I'm sure if you practise and try hard you will have no problem with this video.
It's a great one.

Thanks for your time,
Matt

If you have never used coins, this is definetly not the video to start with.
Trust me on this, learn all of your basics before moving into sankeys dvd.
It has a ton of material but not for the novice.Sure there are several routines you can do.However if you really want to learn and be good at coins, don't start there.Try Roths Expert coin magic made easy vol 1-3,
or Ammars Intro to coin magic. Some people may not like this but I would go with Roth,it does'nt get any more technically sound, and add Bobos book.

Good luck and welcome to the wonderfull world of coin magic.

Get bobos first then that. Because some of the stuff you might need backround on like different palms

I'll always recommend picking up Jays!!
I purchased it when I first started out practicing magic! So I stated with the basics tricks on the vid (basic sleight used tricks).. and when I learned about the more advanced sleights I took a look on the more advanced tricks! I think that anybody that is interested in coinwork should own it!
Its really GOOD!!

Go for it my man!!
But also go for Bobo's!! It doesn't cost you so much, but in that you got almost like an Incyclopedia of coin sleights.. *S* basics up to advanced..

I own Sankeys Rev.Coin Magic,I like it alot. However there are only a few routines that I have really worked on so far.If you want to really want to be a good coin worker, this dvd will not do it.The video will advance you once you are a good coin worker, but it will not make you one.Like all things in life you must take steps to be good. Learn to walk, and then you can run.
Bobos book IS a must have and it contains over 200 tricks.A video
like Roths ECMME will advance the understanding of sleights and routines
taught in Modern coin magic. There are no serious short cuts to being very
good at anything.
Learn well and welcome to coin magic...it rules!

Thanks for the comment KaZuko,I got Jays video as the second coin video I owned. It was an amazing amount of ideas. However with the exception of a couple of routines,I had to shelve it and worked hard on all the sleights and palms involved in the basics. Now when I went back to it,
there are really are only a couple of items out of both hours of tape that I
feel are powerfull enough to add to my other routines. The Flying shuttle
rocks and is one of the best utitlities around.
I can tell your working hard at your coin magic, keep it up man.I wish I had the time to work as hard as you seem to be.Enjoy and you should do
well. :)
