If you can get hold of the new 10 Euro coin in europe it is worth every euro cents for doing coin tricks. It is slightly larger than a half dollar and slightly smaller than a silver dollar. The only down side I have found is the edge isn't milled like the half dollar, so gripping it can sometimes be difficult. Check with your local banks or the money exchages at the international airports.
I am stationed in Germany and I was looking for half dollars at the banks on the base when one of the tellers pulled out a bag full of shiny coins that I had never seen before. I got 10 bucks worth of half dollars and the 10 Euro coin, the Euro is by far my favorite to work with.
