According to the "Best close up gimmicks" thread everyone carries them, my question: what's your favorite thing to do with them?
I usually simply use it for a silk vanish or salt vanish but there's so much else out there, I'm wondering what you all like to do. And of course the 100$ bill switch is out there.
What's the one big effect you actually pack the TT for every day?

I really like MIS-MADE BILL (involves $100 bill switch).
So fun for the streets.
But I don't do it every day (I still need to work on my switch ).

I do a sucker color changing silk trick, where I "teach" the audience how to change the color of a silk, but it ends up that one silk vanishes.

I really like the effect "Fan Mail" found on Jay Sankey's 'Front Row Sankey' DVD. Great signature-transpo effect, and never fails to drop an audiences' jaws.

The main effect that I use a TT for in m shows is _______ (exposure).

But I do have a couple stuffed with ribbons and streamers.
I like to use them for cig vanish, dollar vanish and appearance, water from stone or blood from stone, salt rountine.

I own a few hard vern TT, 2 soft vern TT, a 2 vern FT. Been thinking about getting the 6th finger tip.

My opener for my show uses a TT. I can't tell you what the trick is because that would be exposure. But let me say that it never fails to get reactions.

You do know that when the aluminium foil unsticks itself because of the heat you'll get REALLY bad burns right?

torn and restored salt is pretty good, heh a thumbtip was my first thing I ever bought in magic. I lost it a while ago and should get another one

"Sweeter & Lower" (Developed by Richard Osterlind). Basically, it's a torn and restored sweetener packet illusion. I use Richard's handling. Amazing effect.

I carry a TT and a couple of links of chain with me often. I like to "magically" link the chain.

Bill switches!!! I go to the coffee shop, pull out a one and say, "Oh, wait. This won't buy a cup of coffee (or in my case - an iced tea) these days. I'll need a larger bill." By then, I've started folding.
...You'd be surprised how many times I have to assure the one taking the money that it is, in fact, a REAL bill and not in some manner counterfiet.

I carry a few TT coils in a tiny zip-close bag in my pocket. I like to produce them from kids' shirts or anywhere else that's both handy and impossible!

I utilize a TT for a sponge ball transposition, (as shown in Gary Darwin's "Encyclopedia Of TT Magic" DVD set).

I like to produce and vanish silks and liquid in borrowed, rolled-up dollar bills. I like to also produce ten dimes from a dollar bill.

Oh, the possibilities are endless and the effects I perform often with my TT - and that I would list as my favorites - are numerous; but one thing is guaranteed - I never leave home without at least two TTs!! (A hard and a soft.)
