Hi, Recently i have been thinking about buying myself a raven,i know the concept of the raven but i wanted to know if the raven is flimsy and what the quality of it is.

I agree with Wayno. As long as you don't do anything stupid with it, you should have no problem.

Also, I'd suggest getting the Deluxe Raven kit. It's well worth the money, and can be helpful.

It's sweet! I would recommend it over the M5, just because the whole "no sleeves" thing makes it look impossible. Hey maybe I could make another raven out of my M5! It might be to heavy though...I'll check it out and le you know...

I kinda was planning to use it as some sort of brace but ok...

which one would you prefer? the original raven or the raven with the reel? and if anyone has the raven with the reel, could you tell me if it makes any sound when disappearing?

I can't say from experience, but I bet the Reel Raven makes quite a bit of noise. I for one would stick the original, which I can say from experience, is awesome.

That would be like a raven X5. It wouldn't work. It wouldn't really be concealed in your hand and it would be too strong.

Oh yeah, it kicks [edited]. The only problem is I haven't the right shirt for the job yet, so I have yet to try it in High School, but it absolutely killed in 8th grade. I'll be sure to tell you how it goes as soon as I perform it, though.

Can the raven vanish an unswittched regular quarter? what gimmicks and coins do you suggest getting with it?

It cannot vanish borrowed coins.
Anyway, if you want to get a lot of good props to go with it rather than buying them separately, buy the deluxe kit. It will cost less for the props that way.
If you don't buy the deluxe kit, you will only get the shrinking nickle.
