Hey im getting a ITR and was wondering something:

I know with many IT tricks you ancor the IT to something across from you and have it span from you to that thing with the object floating in between. How would you do that in a street magic situation. My main questoin is can you still get the same great floating effect ( where it floats through a loop in your fingers ect.. ) without having it ancored to something other than the ITR?

In a street situation (not really recommended due to lighting problems) you anchor either directly to the floating object or to something like your fingernail. I was at a party once and my friend (also a magician) let me anchor to the back of his collar as he was talking to someone else. I had a full "clothesline" of about 5 feet to work with and even if the suspected IT, they couldn't figure out where the other end could have been.

At a restaurant, the simple action of moving a glass or ketchup bottle aside is all you need to get a good hookup. Just use your imagination. The possibilities are nearly endless.
