Hey its me again and looking for some good resources for some body loading magic, and i hope im using the correct term, but the idea is to be able to take something make it vanish and have it pop someplace else on the spectators body. For example take a coin and have a spectator hold out their hand then make the coin vanish completely! But then it appears on the shoulder of the spectator. Now i have been working on doing some of these effect based entirely off looking at James Brown or Apollo Robbins performances and figuring out proper misdirection and such. BUT id like to know if there are any good books that aren't impossible to find and that wont kill my wallet out there on this very fun art.
If none of this makes sense at all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJJidnWFpLI the coin routine in the beginning is what im looking for, not that specifically but things like that.

LASTLY thank you very much for reading this post and i look foward to any kind of feedback!
-Dave

Greg Wilson's "On the Spot" has a great routine which is exactly what you are looking for... also take a look at Oz Pearlman's "Coin Under Watch"

My vote is with Zenn's suggestion. On the Spot has the Quicksilver Routine which would be a nice starter routine for that sort of magic. He also has a few other routines including a basic watch steal and an updated version of Ashes through the Palm that will give you some basic ideas on how to "invade personal space" and thus accomplish what you are looking for. He also has a quick section on basic pickpocketing. No tricks are taught with pickpocketing but he discusses some of the methodology he uses. If the stuff from On The Spot intrigues you and you want more there are plenty of pickpocketing and putpocketing DVDs and books sold on penguin. You might just browse the Pickpocketing section to cherry pick some of the most recommended resources.

Apollo Robbins has a routine that involves producing a signed card out of a specs pocket. He also does quite a few other body loading moves in the Cultural Exchange set. It's hard stuff, but it works.

No pickpocketing on the videos, but really fun stuff to practice. A lot of really hard stuff, too.
