In my next purchase I'm wanting to get a thread system for future levitations. But with so many out there ranging from different styles and hook ups, I am wondering if anyone can give me some details on their experience with different ITR's and other styles of thread systems.

Oh and I have one question in particular about the Stealth Reactor, can you control the speed of it? It' looks great but it seems quite fast in it's movements.

Thanks - Brandon

No, the PM floating dollar is a bit ore basic. It is as basic as such a thing could get. But that's what you get for 10 bucks.

Micro ITR....don't waste your money on the ITR 2000 or whatever those others are. Just the micro is fine, it's still the only one I use, and I've tried them all. I will float a dollar bill with the ITR in my pocket, then take 2-3 steps back and it's just floating there!!! When you move away from it and it's still there they KNOW that it has nothing to do with you. But be prepared to snap lines in a hurry when people grab for it. Run through a lot of thread this way but hey that's good magic for ya.

Hey, I have got the same problems here. Just starting and trying to find a thread system. I bought Ammar's ETMTM volume one (which is very good btw) and I am getting two and three.

I started working with invisible elastic and loops which is fun but i am going to get a micro ITR.

I don't own it but my feeling with The stealth retractor is that it is to quick a floating dollar bill shouldn't retract at 90miles an hour. Which i don't like. I am going to try perfect thread, invisible elastic and micro ITR

see ya let me know what you do!

I use U.F.C. (Ultimate Float Controller).
Works excellent. This is the Rolls Royce of floating gimmicks.
Its a fully electronic, body-operating Float controller.
You can have over 100 of feets of thread on the spool, very handy if the thread breaks. Just pull out more.
You can walk up to 60-80 feet away from the Floated object.
It has a perfect tension at any length. This is great if you work on a big stage. You can also have several spools with different threads.
Perfect if you do differenct effects.
You can find it at Hokus Pokus web.

I use 2 hook ups.
The one i really like is from Jon Leclair, and the other one is from steve fearsson. I don't use an ITR because I don't like it. Bought one several months ago, used it and tossed it into my drawer. Not my style.
