The "Cups and Balls" is not a trick you buy! What you buy or make or maybe take out of your cupboard, is the props, three cups, mugs whatever, and some balls or similar objects of some kind. But the "Cups and Balls" is a routine that means practice, experience, and hard work. The "Cups and Balls" is YOU, when you have found your own way to perform it in a magical and entertaining way.

Coin Squeeze is a nice little trick, but you can´t compare it with one of the worlds oldest effects!

I personally do not like the coin squeeze...and I think most people will agree that cups and balls are the a necessity.

If you don't know at least some basic c&b stuff, you took too many sick days at Magic School. It's a staple. It's essential. Houdini was right. A few basic sleights, some simple misdirection, and you can astound. You can do an absolutely devastating routine with no gimmicks.

There are some beautiful, artisan-quality cup sets out there--the one Penguin's been GIVING away with those who order a certain amount are about as good as it gets--but IMHO, c&b routines are even more effective when done totally impromptu. i have a nice fancy set, but it just doesn't get the same reaction as when i use borrowed Dixie cups and balled-up paper napkins or dollar bills. (Besides, those fancy sets are a p.i.t.a. to tote around anyway.) Using everyday, borrowed objects just amps up the effect by orders of magnitude.
