Yeah i totaly agree with nicholas9999, cigarette up the nose rocks. The gimmick is clever and well made, and some of the patters you can come up with are pretty funny.

I like Scarne's fire trick. Basicly the effect is that you take a couple of lit matches and "toast" your fingers with them showing that you are impervious to fire. Normaly this doesn't impress them, but a few moments later you take a lit cigarette and hold it end to end between your thumb and first finger for about 10 sec. That get's their respect! Unless you know the secret I don't recommend you try it or you'll burn the crap out of your finger.

i use the Cig up the nose! ppl are like wait a sec did u....did .. did u just stick that up your NOSE!!???? lol its funny their eyeballs roll out

My favorite effect is extinguishing a lit cigarette in my hand then vanishing it completly using a standard TT. GREAT effect. Always leaves them baffled.

i suggest not harassing people who come onto the forums for help. i wouldn't like it if people did that to me, and you wouldnt like it if they did it to you. other than that, cig up nose really is astonishing, they have a clip on penguin, and it looks perfect and clean. also, cig thrucardisa lot cleaner and more natural than thru coin, with virtually no angle problems.

On 45 jay shows you a great ciggarete vanish (its a bout number 14) but most of the time, the person wants their ciggy back(lol). Also, the UNIVERSAL RAVEN can let you vanish and reappear ciggys, matches, bills, hankies, etc.
(the universal raven is not carried by penguin magic and is way, harder to use than the raven or raven X-2.)

hey all, im new to the scen, and dont know much about magic, but i am starting to learn. i was in a bar in Miami when an old magician pulled the vanishing cigarette on me. I was astonished. This is something that i want to do. Not just learn this trick, but to astonish people liek I was. i have been looking for answers but i really havent found what it is tha he did. I read alot about TT ( i dont know what that stands for) Ive read about the ravens and al that. Is there any one that can help me out with this. what would be the best way to go about getting started in cigarette magic?
