I'd say that under the right conditions (dim lihting) this is a very good effect. The only thing is, it's prevented from being completely mind-blowing by the fact that the subject of the effect is completely foreign; no one has ever actually just seen these things around. So for a parlour style show, these are great (get two of them if you get them at all), but I prefer good old fashioned sleight of hand.

There's almost no sleight of hands required...

Even though I don't have it, I know how it works... :P

In my opinion, I don't think it's hard to master or anything...

You just gotta think of you routine for it..

I don't really recommend "D'Lites" for amazing many people...

Because some people will be amazed, but obiously, people know that it's some kind of gimmick, or tools...

So, they think they can do it only if they have "D'Lite"

It's good for kids though..

So it depends on where you going to use it and for what purpose..

The "secret" of D'Lites is not a secret at all. Almost any adult will know how you do it. The REAL secret of D'Lites is the patter. The story you use while the lites keep popping up and swirling around you. The way you "dance" with the lites and the way they pop into your head from one ear and travel thru to pop out the other ear. I have the lites "pull" my body about 5 feet as the lite goes in one ear and tries to make it thru my head to the other side, while my face goes thru several expressions ranging from confusion to slight pain, to really great joy and happiness.

You always use TWO D'Lites never one and then have them dissapear at the end of the act. In my birthday party routine I use them for up to 5 minutes depending on the audience reactions.

D'lites are real easy to master. I had them for about half an hour at the most and i was already doing them like a pro.

around haloween these are good things to get. you can make a light appear and throw it through their head and when it comes out the other side you can turn it into candy. there is no worry about mastering it, the trick is very easy and as paddy said, the real secret is the patter.

The only thing i hate about the trick is it has to be dark but its still a kool trick I remember when i walked in the magic shop that day,...when i seen the performer doing this effect i thought it was a red ball.Didnt think it was lights till about a month later those were in my earlier days when i was about 12 lol anyway hope that helps.
