The thing with this trick is that NO ONE knows how to do it! I mean, it is the simplest thing in the world (granted, it needs practise to be smooth), but the fact it uses nothing than two normal bands, your fingers and the spectators, means that no one suspects any funny moves. You show a card trick to someone, and they know that it's "not magic" and they'll say "ah, you're just doing something tricky with your hands" but for some reason with Crazy Man's Handcuffs it's different... like it's a true example of being able to defy the laws of physics...
