i thought maybe i wold start this thread aboput which tricks can truely be doen close up. i just read a post about exit 51 and the spectators having to be far away and i thought maybe this wold be a good time and place for everyone to let everyone know which tricks can be done with spectator(s) right next to you or close by.

one of my favoritews that coem to mind would be hundy 500. list soem of the tricks that you have that can "truley" be doen close up

All of the effects that I do are close up and personal. I don't do a lot of card tricks, although I don't have anything against them, but I find that most people have seen enough card tricks to last a lifetime, so I figure I'll do effects that they haven't seen before. I work with straight coins, gaffed coins, silks, bills, keys, matches, most any small objects, and mentalism. All of these can be done comfortably close up... with practice of course.

The only card tricks that I do on a regular basis are:
Air Tight
Color changing aces
Series of effects with svengali deck (usually integrated with a coin routine)

i dunno about yours buy my color monte definitely isn't gimmicked. just nicely printed cards........and if anyone doesn't have color monte you're missing out on some great reactions.

Nikels to Dimes is quite cool. even though it is cheap it does have a good affect and can be examined! Mike
