I was checkin out the D'lite combo set, and I was just wonderin if it its a good buy. Is it worth the money?

D'lites are awesome, I would recommend buying two red ones. I have heard that the video that comes with the combo is useless, but I don't have it, so I can't help you there. But I would say definately buy two red ones.

(I know it's long but it's good.) I was going to my magic meeting and this real goofy kid walks up to me and say's "Do you want to exchange tricks?" And I said "Ok what have you got?" And the kid pulls out D'lites and started waving them around like a mentally ill kinda of guy. So I said "Ok, I refuse to exchange tricks with you." And the kid asks me why and I said "D'lites are tricky a'holes aren't they?" And he said "No not for me." And I said, "Your not getting my point are you?" And he said no. So I pulled my D'lites and I started waving them around like I have for years. And I said, "do you understand my point now?" And all he did was cross his arms and walked off. So my point is that you or anyone else can do a little card trick or whatever but D'lites are nothing to mess around with. D'lites are the signature of all sorts of magic the world. So (1) Study the technique and history of The D'lites. (2) Don't be an beotch when someone shows you a great trick. So if you are one of those people who like "BIG" reactions then go with the D'lites. But if you aren't willing to practice for longer than a year then go with something else.

I think these are a little overrated. They are a good effect and work well into shows. I have a set and have used them in kid shows. The plus side is they are easy to learn, although like one poster stated the video is not that great. You need to develop your own routine and get the timing down, which can be learned in a few days. The down side is many have them and many laymen can figure out wht is going on.

haha bendy pen and magic stoplight cards. Hey i have used the stoplight cards on some people and got some good reactions! kids love it. but for older ppl they just look at you and kinda smile. nothing good. but my d lites are on the way. i wonder if they are super bright

not they arent that bright. U need to use these indoors, i bought these a few years ago, and now they dont work. IM wondering if i should buy new ones, i mean since i bought them when i was about 11, or 10 and i wasn't really thinking about presentation or ne thing. Im much better now obviously, but umm do u guys think it's worth putting in my repertoire? since i never really got to get good reactions , becuz i was in a learning stage, lol
