Can the pencil be fully examined before it is changed to "number two"? I am familiar with the effect. It doesn't seem possible unless a switch is made.

would love to purchase it only if it is examinable before changing to "number two".

thanks.

Ken

No. If you let them examinine before Number Two appears, then they may piece together what is going on.

I still recommend the trick however. It isn't the greatest, but one most magicians should at least have in their collection.

So would you suggest it as a solid trick? I have had my eye on it, but have read a ton of mixed reviews.

I would. This is one of my favorites. I have two of them. one I keep in my backpack that I use for shows, and one I carry around with me. It is a solid trick. The hardest part is learning the paddle move. once you have it down, the rest of the trick is simple. If you have ever done "Hot Rod" you can do No 2 pencil. The only difference is with the No 2, you dont need to worry about angles, and I believe it is a much stronger effect.

Just as a side note, I also do shows at the elementary school. When I do the No 2, I hand out pencils to the class. The reaction is huge.
