my favorite are:

haunted deck (with loops)

double connection- a trick i made a while ago, when 2 sigs appear on a double facer which is given as a souvenir.. there r many versions, but mine is the cleanest and most direct i have seen so far, and the presentation is so much fun :)

the two card monte, i always do it and you use un-gaffed cards and it can be examined, but you have to watch out if they turn the cards over in the middle of the trick (i have had it happen and ruined the trick).

thats why i would suggest you saying "WITHOUT TURNING OVER THE CARDS, WHAT IS THE CARDS IN YOUR HAND" make it loud so they dont, also my grandpa did it.........i wasn't surprised, he does the opposite of what you tell him, basicly.

I like Chop Cup right now too! it gets great reaction byt i use quarters instead of knit Balls. Check out the chop cup's me and my dad makes
