hi

I'll give also a try for my favo magic close up trick:
(but these are big routines I perform and love to perform)
has you can see, I have 2 routines on number one.

1. Ambitious Card Routine
1. Nacho Mamma's Triumph - Only Four - Scatter - Motion - White Or Wheat - Ego - Third Degree (if someone is smoking)
2. Torn
3. Triumph - Follow The Queen - The Man From New York - Hypnotic
4. Standard Shadow Coin Routine - Backfire Ending - Flash Four Appearance
5. JackAss - WipeOut - Rewind - San Diego Prediction

these are my favorite routines that I perform for close up.

any good bill switch...

reason: because paper money is such a common item. To the spectator, the appearance is that there is only YOU and the bill(s)... whereas with a card trick, there is YOU, CARDS (not very common place... seemingly not impromptu), and what ever MANIPULATION SKILL (which is assumed of every magician by the spectator) that you "must" have.

when I pull out my cards or some specific prop... people expect a magic trick... when I borrow a bill, or pull money from my wallet, people are in for a ride that they don't expect.

Some favs: Klaus/Koslovski (sp.) -people will ALWAYS be amazed by these standard switches, Visi-Bill, Two-Dollar Window (my inspectable switch), Juan Pablo -Mckenzie's (this has uses that extend FAR beyond the visual switch illusion), Twisted, Hundy 500, and Slow Burn...

not to mention: Ghost Bills and a number of pen/pencil-to-bill penitrations.
