hi guys im trying to think how to say this but does anyone know a trick that would kind of spook people out and make them think your not nautral and has a lot of drama

lol you could do that. Levetation effects seem to have a strong and kind of sppoky effect in some sence. Or mentalism.

i'll second that levitation recommendation... my wife did a baldaci levitation for one of her friends from Singapore (they kinda superstitious people by nature anyways) and she freaked out and started screaming and crying cause she was so scared! it was one of those cool.. but bizarre awkward moments

she eventually got her calmed down by explaining how it was just an illusion and she didn't really float in the air. hehe

so try the levitation... and lead in with the mental magic.... tends to screw with peoples heads.

You can sell any effect as being spooky if it's done in the right context. Showmanship and presentation go a long way. Remember the power of pause ... silence is unconfortable for most people -- talk less! And, never rush an effect. Create a great story or a hook and have the magic punctuate the climax of the story. You have to sell it hard and create a character that people will take seriously. Your credibility will add greatly to their belief in your B.S. and make for an enjoyable experience for all.
