darth,
I would like to see you reset the raven in any kind of magic situation. you have to go somewhere private to do it and it isnt a piece of cake. that my friend, IS tiresome reset. It is terrible for a walkaround environment. have you tried doing this walkaround??? and of course the conditions are limited. You talk as if you dont even own the prop.

David,

I do own the raven, and use it dooing walk around. You are correct that reset is not the easiest, but if set up properly, I can do it right in front of you while you look at me. I do it all the time, and have even repeted it to someone. It is possible, it just depends on your set up, and how much time you are willing to put into practicing it.

can the raven be done with a short sleeve shirt?..

Yes. There are methods to do this with no shirt at all. Dont know why you would want to, but it can be done.

:D

I own the raven. Where can i learn to do it without a shirt?

Isnt it obvious, hes asking for exposure. Just buy the trick and look in the manual, or the PO forum. Its says so there. :x

in my opinion the M5 is better, because you can do pretty much anything with the M5 that you can do with the Raven, plus a whole lot more... the only thing is that it's a lot more expensive, it used to go for like 200 dollars on a website that's not penguin related, and now itslike 120 there...but penguin probably sells it for cheaper.

it depends on what you want to.

bat: used mostly for pk effects

raven: used for vanishes, appearences, and coin changes.

i personally like & use the raven. imo it's more vesatile than the bat.

i dont personally own the raven but i own the bat, but how can you say the raven is more versatile? The bat can do vanishes, changes, psychic movement, balance tricks, and even a bank night affect. The raven can vanish/appear items and change items. Im not dissing the raven at all im just saying the bat can do more.

I have the raven and love it.
The reset takes almost no time at all if you know what you're doing.

Admittedly, I bought mine from a used magic store with no instructions, (and no PO) so I've had to figure it all out and likely use some very unconventional handling, but I've come up with some great ideas that make it a lot easier to handle.

I still don't know the short sleeve method though.
