Try this on for size: http://merlite.com//product.asp?pn=202 Generic men's wedding bands for $4.50 each. I bought two, since I know of some effects that need a duplicate ring. I'm not too concerned that it fits (though I did take my ring size using the instructions), because I didn't really buy them to wear. At this price, it's no big deal if it gets lost or damaged. They're generic enough that they can pass for most men's rings at any reasonable distance.

My rings arrived today. Don't know what they're made of, but they look like gold to my untrained eye! They are metal, and not cheap plastic or something. These will be great magic props for all sorts of tricks! Especially ones where I borrow a man's wedding band. Just swap it temporarily for one these el cheapos, and away we go! Perfect for practicing Pinnacle, too!

$5.75 for the shipping. Two rings at $4.50 each, total = $14.75. Can't beat that!

Now if they made a Himber ring which looked like that rather than some jewel infested gaudy ring no one under 75 owns!! I have a video with Billy McCombs doing a great routine with the Himber ring, but it uses a signature ring. How many people wear signature rings these days??
The rings are a good deal and could be employed in a variety of effects, good find!!

I showed them to a professional magician (Lee Asher's father) last night. He suggested getting a third one and making a linking finger ring set out of them myself. Shouldn't be too hard.

Have a friend wear the gimmicked one to a restaurant, borrow his ring and a couple of others from random patrons, and link three borrowed rings together! That would make a great audition piece.
