But don't discount a magnetic finger ring. You can turn any cup into a chop cup with one.

It isnt a magnetic ring.. the ring is more of a "clip" than a magnet ;)

I'm really hating magic marketing these days.

There used to be a time when a magnetic finger ring was actually called a magnetic finger ring.

Like the Ackerman lecture notes I have. He didn't take credit for it then either, because it is an old principle.

Old principle ... new principle ... personally I don't see what difference it makes! Magnets have been used in magic as far back as I can remember! It's anybodys' guess who should be credited for the first use?

Have it. Ordered it from the subterfuge magic site. One of the best purchases I've made all year and the one I'm most happy with. I think it's one of the best kept secrets around, and that's great for me.

I offer up a quote from the cafe made by the guy's sister.

"Hey all!

I am happy to say that Subterfuge Magic System owners have proved beyond a doubt that SMS is truly a versatile utilty system.

I hope our creative SMS owners will not mind me teasing the forum with some of their ingenious applications to the SMS. I'm not going to tell your secrets here, people can look those up in the SMS private owners forum. I just want to give a hint of what SMS owners are doing with SMS besides simple coin vanishes.

Cards, paper monies, shadow coin/matrix, cups and balls/chop cups, hand fire, dragon eggs, hypnosis, mind control, reading minds, coin bends, cigarette routines, scotch and soda, close-up mat routines, vanish/reappears, moving items, and more all done SMS style.

If you thought SMS was only for coin vanishes well.... I think SMS owners have thrown that concept entirely out the window. They know no bounds and are incredibly inventive.

Thanks you guys for putting the comparisons of SMS and other small item vanish gimmicks to rest!

Stephy"

What can I add to that, except, And you were thinking of buying something else?
