Ok, I watched the vid, I read the reviews, this trick seems awesome. I'm totally stumped as to how they did it, must be an incredible gimmick or something. I had a thought about it until they said the coin could be signed. I am prolly going to buy it but one thing.. In the video it says the coin can be signed. Would you be able to erase the signature?

Yes, the signature could be taken off, but I wouldn't bother having it signed anyways. It's a great coin that has many uses. I can't attest to the quality of this coin, but the Johnson Folding Coins are amazing.

It's best to only use certain types of bottles. Some bottles will make the band come out of the groove. You could pack the groove with white Elmer's Glue, to keep the band from coming out. Be sure to inspect the band often, because they wear out quickly.

BTW, there's no need to have the coin signed. I'd never have it signed.

I'm the same way. Besides, signing means they take it home at the end, I'm not giving away my half dollars. You could also use modeling clay to pack the groove.

When it comes to getting the coin out, I just cut the bottle open or smash the glass. (if you smack the coin out, in my experience it flys apart sometimes, and putting the band back on is NOT FUN)

Also......if you would like to combine this trick with Neil Tobin's "The Xpert", you can have the person sign the coin. Some tricks combined together make a even more killer effect. So, that's all I can say.

Why break the bottle? That defeats the purpose of the illusion. Double band it and use the clay that I mentioned.
