i read that you don't like posts with a question in it like this:
i have 10 dollars, what should i buy?. So i ask you for advice. i have roughly 200 dollars to spend... I made a list up with magic that i want. i ask you for two things, one, what is very worth the money and good, what is missing on my list and two, is this list good.

Well it all depends on what level of magic you are at right now. Personally, i think stained glass is pretty stupid, along with invisible deck and the card guard. The choices all depend on your interests.. if cards, ditch the gimicks and buy some Greg Wilson or Paul harris. If you are into impromptu, Greg Wilson's on the spot is amazing. It's the trademark of an ameture magician if you are constantly using gimicks. The more your magic can imitate reality, the more convincing and visual it becomes. My list for you would be as follows.

Magic Mints

On the Spot (1and 2) by Greg Wilson

Paper clipped -Sankey

Killer Key- Sankey (both effects hit really hard)

Bobo's modern coin magic

Maybe the Card College Collection

etc. If you want more idea then you can pm me and i can give you some others.. make sure to keep it realistic though, spectators really dig the real thing.

Invisible Deck... stupid? It's one of the most respected tricks in the business. And he only has 10 bucks, so I would suggest... the Invisible Deck.

The Invisible Deck is pretty much a standard in most magicians arsenal....it's easy, self-working and gets great reactions.

If you don't already have one, I HIGHLY recommend a TT. You can do soooo many things with this simple prop.

If into coins or you want to get into coins, Bobo's is definitely a great book to learn the basics from.

Not stupid, and he said he had ten.. and then proceeded to say he had 200... so i was confused. For ten, thas would be good, but i still think it is a bit of a waste of money. But that's only my opinion, i've never been a fan.

Interesting.....I'm curious why you are not a fan of the ID? I ask because I was the exact same way until recently.... I always had people asking to see the deck, and I don't like having to switch.....I like non-gimmicked decks. BUT, I had the Black Tiger Deck ID....once I finally bought a standard Bicycle deck, I love it now!

The switch does annoy me, people don't usually ask me, but i just find that if i'm going to have something with me, a pack of cards plays much more strongly than a gimicked pack.
