I'll try to ask this one without exposing much, though I don't know if that's a problem on those tricks since they have been explained by Blaine and some other magicians on youtube.

I know the Voodoo Ash effect, and have done it without problem couple of times on my poor friends, they were sucking their thumbs and screaming "mommy !!!" LOL. My question is, is the material same in Ashes on Arm as Voodoo Ash to do the effect? Is the video worth buying, is it introducing any new ideas I can add to my effect?

Do you mean Ashes on Arm, and Ashes on Palm?

One is where a card or number is revealed on your arm in ash, the other is where a little bit of ash travels from your hand to the palm of a spectator's hand.

Criss Angel taught ashes on palm using lipstick on TV, which wasn't cool.

Blaine didn't expose anything, but I believe one of his rivals did.

I perform a routine with Ashes on Arm and Electric Touch. Since we are in a pretty much smoke-free environment now, I use coffee grounds. It's cleaner and it makes my magic case smell like coffee and vanilla!

I use the Ash Pen to do my dirty work.
