I don't own it. However, there's a review in the Trick Reviews forum that states it uses no gimmicks. I'm guessing it could use a pocketwatch.

It depends on the pocketwatch. Most regular watches will work though.

There needs to be a certain feature on the watch. Some watches have it, and some don't.

Most modern pocket watches do not have the needed feature (PM me if you want to check yours).

All the same, I don't suggest the effect. It uses "audience cooperation", as opposed to a stooge, and really isn't that great. If your volunteers happen to discuss what happened later, you're screwed.

Just get Banachek's Psychokinetic Time and be done with it.

I was kinda mad about this only because my watch did not work for the trick. If your watch has a certien feature and good display it should work.

Synchronicity is another effect that I like very much. There are a couple of properties that your watch should have in order for you to do this marvellous effect.

And I disagree when someone says that when the first spectator talk to much, you're screwed. Its not true!. The key point to remember is not to take the credit for the effect that just transpired, but give the credit to the two spectators.

If you purchased this effect, try to work it out using the key point that I just mentioned - and surely you will be able to track the thought process of the second and first spectator and find out that it does not hurt you performance even if the first spectator talks to much because you did not claim anything that can be refuted and destroyed by what the first spectator might say.

The most powerful impact that this effect inflicts is for the audience or if played right, for the second spectator, too. The impact towards the first spectator might not be that intense but it still is very amazing.

I recommend Luke Jermay's Skulduggery DVD, where he taught some of his signature effects including Synchronicity - where he really taught and explained the effect in great detail.

I hope you will sit down for a while and think along the thought-process that you create in the routine. Its there where the beauty of the effect resides.
