:( I was a little annoyed after purchasing the above book. I had already forked out £125 for Syzergy and was gutted that large amounts of effects were repeated in the two books. Am I just being a grumpy man or did anybody else share my thoughts? Naughty Lee Earle.
You're being a grumpy man...or just one who might not have researched M.I.N.D. thoroughly enough. M.I.N.D. was/is marketed as a retrospective collection of Earle's work, not a book of new material, so overlap with Syzygy is to be expected. For example, here's some descriptive text from this website:
"...the bulk of [Earle's] creativity is assembled in this single, significant book. Over two decades of 'outside the box' thinking from one of the most prolific minds in mentalism plus nearly all of Lee's published writings from the past twenty years-more than fifty routines, including many of his limited release commercial items-are literally within your grasp."
Slick marketing copy which translates to "old stuff."
