There is a nice interview with Tony Corinda (of 13 Steps fame) in the March 2008 issue of Magic magazine.

That's interesting, now I have an excuse to pick up a copy. How old is Tony these days?

No he is dead,

It must be an old interview that has been done in the past.
Look on Wikipedia for him, they talk a lot about him.

Yes, I did realize that, but the combined facts of the interview in Magic Magazine and the Wikipedia article saying he is alive makes me believe that more than likely, he is alive.

I know that in order to publish the 13 steps in spanish, the editors payed for the rights to Corinda himself, not so long ago. He lives in a small town in England. I will try to get more details.

^Taken from another forum. Just search around on Google, and you'll see he is still alive.

In my knowledge Tony Corinda is still alive and lives in England. And I am 99% sure about reading or hearing this from a liable source. Just can't remember where.

He's alive. Like I said, he was just interviewed in Magic magazine.

Someone asked up above how old he was ... in the interview, Tony said he was going to be turning 80 in the near future.

Someone else said he'd heard that Tony was dead ... in the interview, Tony mentioned he's read lots of silly rumours about himself on the web.

:-)

I bought this today and am really enjoying the article. It is set up with 13 questions (hence thirteens steps to tony corinda). The interview is quite long and gos for over 8 A4 pages. Really interesting, I recomend anyone to pick this up.
