One fits over, the other sticks on.

A TT writer is a TT with a piece of lead sticking out of the tip. Personally, I find it ridiculous, as it's simply too big of a gimmick for this type of effect. I highly suggest avoiding it.

A boon writer is a gimmick that sticks to the tip of your thumb by blue tack or the like. It is very easily hidden, and I highly recommend it.

They're easily made. I think once you have the book you'll know how to do this. On the other hand, they're cheap, so pick up a few of them. (Not just one, they're easily lost)

I prefer the TT writer thougth,

Much more easier to get on and off, Great for stage you are sure that it will stay.

If you do close-up opt for a boon.

i dont' like boon type, because when it writes, it doesn't stick hard to your finger and easily fall apart.

I've heard the TT writer is a lot easier to use than the Boon writer. Personally i prefer the Boon writer, It's easier to conceal.

The more you use a boon writer, the more secure it becomes on your thumb.

True, after a while you just get used to it. It's kind of like learning to use a pencil for the first time.
