MULTIPLE predictions, woven into a poem. Written, read and handed out right in front of your spectator.

Are 2 topics really neccesary?

There are quite a few people who don't check the main discussion area but instead go straight to a specialist category. Plus I wanted to increase my post count.

This looks like a really nice effect. I think too many magicians and mentalists perform effects that have no real purpose or never truly connect an audience member. Poetry is really powerful. Plus, your spectator gets to keep something that is personal. You could be eating lunch and writing a poem. Someone is bound to ask you what you are doing and bam, there is your opportunity to perform. You do not have to go up to someone and ask them, "Hey, do you want to see me perform magic"?

Anyway, great idea Alvo.

I like the look of this I must say. However, I fear that it wouldn't work quite so well here in England. I've been sat on my own in coffee shops/tea rooms/pubs etc and never once had anyone come over and talk to me. I've written poetry on my own in public and never once had anyone ask me what I'm doing. I think we in the UK are a little too, what would be the right word, introverted (?) to be asking strangers what they're up to.

Still, it'd work for meeting friends and getting there early so you're writing when they arrive. Maybe. Anyway, good luck with it Alvo.

Haha, that's funny. I have spent quite a bit of time in England, and I can totally see not being interrupted... EVER.

Well, there's no reason you can't do it deliberately for someone you know already. It's really a blank canvas as far as presentation, it's a vehicle.

Good to know - I always like it when presented with a blank canvas regards performance; I'm a creative soul (a delicate little flower) and love being given the chance to create something that will be mine, albeit with a little help from someone else (i.e. method).
