Hi there I just finished reading the book tests chapter in 13 steps. There are some great effects in there and I plan on using most of them. But I wasw a little dissapointed that it didn't tell me how to do what I would consider the most direct book test.
Basicly I would want to do a book test like this (there would be a lot more presentation than this but here is the basic sequence of events)

1. You hand a spectator a selection of books and ask him to pick one

2. As him to turn to any page and pick any word

3. you either have a prediction or read his mind.

I'm aware this could be done with the swami gimmick but i've seen this done on tv by derren brown. He wrote the word on a board and showed it to the camera before he even asked the spectator to pick a book and he was right. So I was wondring where do I look to find this kind of book test?

I would also like to hear you ideas Max if possible, as the book tests I like (Autome, David Hoy's, Patrick Kuffs') aren't as straightforward as I'd like. So if you'd like to share you ideas, they'd be appriciated.

Thanks,

Miikka
