Use your creativity, there are LOADS of things you can do!

Almost every book on practicle mentalism has a effect with CT in it! I'm sure if you spend 20 mins thinking up youd get alot of reat ideas mate!

that's a great CT but now I've found the think pink center tear by Ran Pink and it works better for me and I thin is safer, you might want to try it.

Guys! He's not asking what type of CT to get, he wants some effects with it. There are a few in 13 steps. There is the simple reveal of a word. Listen to Paul and use your creativity.

You're going to a learn a lot of mentalism by watching other mentalists perform. What I mean buy this is while you may not know their methods you can learn a lot from their affects and presentation. The center tear and the billet switch are both excellent ways of securing written down words. Once you know what the word is you can be as elaborate or creative as you want to reveal it. Try something like (as an example)....

"Look at me (place a hand on each shoulder) ok now imagine you're in a classroom and there's a big chalk board there. In your mind I want you to go and write the first letter of your word on the chalk board.. just nod when you've done that."

Stare at them.... "ok I think that's an S or C (depending on the word you read obviously, it's ok to be vauge in mentalism.) Repeat with a few more letters and pretend to take a guess. You've hammed it up so that they'll have forgotten they ever wrote the word down by the time you've finished.

Gary Darwin has a version of the center tear on his Encyclopedia of TT magic DVD's. He uses his TT to get the writing in and envelope. It's pretty cool.
