I just wanted to know, which tossed out deck do you guys prefer. i use a method of my own where after some other mentalism things i cut the deck in half, use the patter of going through quickly and memorizing ever card, then when they cut the deck, i say that i estimated the amount you cut off and i can find it due to location and then i reveal it and everything in the end. so what do you use?

Osterlind's Radar Deck can be used as a tossed out deck. With his version, you can tell the spectators the EXACT cards they are thinking of.

He searched for "Tossed" and "deck" and Penguin Search highlights those words.

Yes that is the plot but you have to have all the spectators close their eyes and at the end of the show, when they talk amongst each other, they might figure out a few things. With Gazzo's you create the impression that you read everyone's mind. With Osterlind's Radar Deck, you actually tell them the card they are thinking of.

The last card in Gazzo's routine is told to a single spectator. The problem with the Radar Deck is that you have to ask so many questions and the deck doesn't leave your hands.

You only ask one question and make one statement...thats all. The deck can leave your hands. All you have to do is wrap a rubber band around the deck just like you would with Gazzo's or any other version. Nothing against Gazzo but Osterlind's is cleaner.

Kenton Knepper has a version out that allows anywhere between 3 and 10 specs to peek a card, and then rather than just tell them their cards, you give cold readings based on the cards everyone looked at and ask them to sit down if you told them their card; nobody stays stood up. Super easy to do too. Well worth a look if you like the premise. Check out "Kenton's Little Book of Wonders".
