d.brown gave in a clip different persons a some page long cold-reading form with the same content. most people where impressed about the accuracy. so i am looking for a book (or better a ready 2 print file) without cold reading techniques but only (or mainly) with such forms. does anybody know where 2 get?

If you'd like, Derren's entire cold reading script from that show is in his Tricks of the Mind book. So that'd most likely be exactly what you are looking for. Also, there are books that teach cold reading which would give you a good general overview on the subject, and make you look more professional if you are planning on presenting Derren's script as cold reading. The Full Facts of Cold Reading is the one that most people end up buying as their starting in cold reading. It is highly recommended on the magic cafe forums. You could also look into the Forer effect, that's just a little one paragraph thing that most people rate highly as being true to them.

Tricks of the mind has a rather long reading in it. I think if you really want to learn cold reading you have to be observant and go with your gut.

Cold Reading is much more than looking and going with your intuition. Although that is some of it, it is not all it is. He would surely have to read about it not just "be observant and go with [his] gut".

Just get out their and try!!! ! The more you try the more youl get a knacc.
