Joshua Jay has a very cool impromptu Book Test type routine inside the pages of his book Magic The Complete Course. He also teaches it on the DVD which comes with his book. It is very easy to learn and it can be done with any borrowed book. You can check it out here:

Joshua Jay

This is a fantastic deal for only $14.96!! Not only do you get a great book which Joshua has put a lot of insight into, you also receive a finely produced DVD...which teaches some excellent effects!!

I do a mental magic card effect presented more with a "face reading" sort of feel to it. Basically I tell them the card they picked out of the deck by reading their face. Completely fair deck, randomly shuffled, no duplicates, nothing that's gimmicked, its so much fun to do because they can never figure it out. That's why I do that if someone asks me to show them something.

This brounght a smile to my face. Great example of the Chunnel. I use this as often as I possibly can and love it more and more each time. ParaLies to anyone else interested, is a fabulous book, teaching this and 20 other marvelous effects and presentations. I enjoyed it massively (the book and your quick performance).

All the best,
-Chase
