Hey, I am just getting into mentalism. Are there any really solid DVD's/tricks/gimmicks i should look into? I plan on getting 13 steps to mentalism. I am obsessed with watching Banachek/ Derren Brown videos. I also plan on getting Banachek's psi series #1. Thanks!

It seems you're on the right track. Get 13 Steps first, then read it twice (at least). However, please do NOT become another derren clone. Loads of those people around, and they never do well in mentalism.

You should study Luke Jermay. He has great ideas.

Richard Osterlind's stuff (especially his Mind Mysteries DVDs) are full of solid, strong, entertaining and workable material. I highly recommend them. Studying the 13 steps first will be a great start and give you a good foundation. Pick up a swami gimmick when you get 13 steps.
