Cover the upper section button/name and it will appear like a clip board.

You'd have to see how pressure sensitive it is. It has to be enough to go through a few pieces of paper but not so much that the audience hand leaning on it will leave an impression. Interesting idea - are you planning on trying it out?

Only thinking about it. I bet it would work nicely with a proper amount of sheets of paper. Too bad one can't "save" pages to be recalled later. ;-)

The only problem I see with it is that they might see the ink below their papers. That is if there is a glow to it. Otherwise, if there is no glow, then you can easily just put down like 1-3 pieces and just ask them to rip theirs off when they're done. Looks pretty darn promising. Might be buying one myself.

Ah but then here is one that can save. Pricier but certainly would be worth it.

Senses 1024 levels of pressure.

Here is one that allows the attachment of any size pad of paper. ...Just need to hide that screen. LOL

Wow that first one that can save looks awesome. Probably have to buy an SD card though. That and it might not be able to display the drawing in real time. It doesn't have any pictures showing the drawings on the black pad itself. But, if it could do that, that'd be amazing.

You're right, doesn't look like one could call the drawing up on the pad itself.

But imagine being out of the room during a drawing and when someone ;-) goes to call you back in they give you the SD card in which you slip in to another device for a 'peek'.

Yeah.. that could work... but just for the sake to create something new.
For fooling performers is ok, but ultimately our art is about what people think and no which method we will use.

Theres a LOT of different approaches that are more simple .

I have Rigg`s Butterfly and works wonderfully.

Dont you think that pen looks funny ?
Also the screen below the pad....
