I was wondering if anyone has come across any mentalism that involved music??

Every effect I have come across seems a little bland looking for spice

I've seen one (possibly even marketed here on Penguin) that involved a music prediction. The revelation is either iPod or if you have a live musician, they can play the predicted piece.

I am not looking for an marketed effect per-say, more what you guys would think is a cool effect to watch (no matter how impossible looking).

This probably isn't exactly what you're thinking about but I like the idea of doing a doctor who style sketch. The Doctor is obviously super intelligent and has a knack of putting things together in much the same way Holms would. So I'd like to do some kind of reveal where I'm babbling on like he would while this music is playing the background.

I'd want to time my script to the music so that the reveals of secret information hit the moments of the crescendos in the music and then as it dies down again I move onto the next subject and start the psycho babble on them.

Throw Instant Radio in to this brainstorm and some mind blowing routines will surely come forth.

In terms of a straight up affect it would be cool if you could somehow get someone with no musical background at all to play a well known tune by influencing them to pick certain keys on a keyboard.
