Does anyone have the Bob Cassidy DVD that penguin sells. I was thinking of getting it but there aren't any reviews

Just ordered it this morning. I'll post a review when I get to it, but it'll take a while since I ordered a huge load of books and DVD's this time.

I've had two bad experiences with Bob Cassidy's material

I ordered his Mental Masterpieces DVD from a magic dealer on Ebay a while ago, and it never arrived. I asked them about it and they said that they couldn't do anything about it but they "would sell me another one for half price as a gesture of goodwill". I complained and complained, and after weeks I got my money back. I never got the DVD, but have since heard from friends that it's good.

My second bad experience was from Bob's site - he sells Ebooks of his material, and I paid for one of them ($28 through paypal). I closed the window by accident after I had paid, and missed the download link. $28 down the drain. I emailed Bob and explained and asked if he could email me the ebook, but got no response. I emailed again and sent the Paypal receipt but still got no response. Shame, $28 definately down the drain

I don't think the Mental Miracles DVD is really worth it. The effects are kind of weak... and is focused on Stage Mentalism. I would recommend the Max Maven's Videomind Set instead. Here's the link:

You don't have to buy the whole set, all though I really recommend it, just click on any of the three Video links on the webpage and order it by itself. They are $29.95 each, or $84.95 for the 3 DVD set.

The nice thing is that you can buy the one with the type of effects that you are looking for Parlor, Close-up and Stage. All though most of the effects are good for any type of Magic.

It's the best Mentalism video I have seen so far.
