You could take a look at hypnotic choice. It is only 4 bucks and is decent but have to choose the people to perform it for wisely. The best thing that you can probably do if you want to get into Mentalism is to save your money,reseach some books and start reading. I think that more in Mentalism than any other field of magic that books play a more important role than anything. There is alot of psychology in mentalism that is important to learn before performing. Hope this helps.

My suggestion would be to get the book Practical Mental Magic by Theodore Annemann. Penguin sells it here for under $10. I highly recommend this if you are starting out in mentalism. It has tons of material.

invisible deck is the closest thing to mentalism you can do with a deck of cards. ok, maybe not the closest, but it is IMO as good a mentalism effect with cards that you can do.

Maybe Kentons Reading a Hoy out of Little book of Wonders but I do agree that the invisible deck is most popular.
