Can anyone suggest a source for a good quality Swami gimmick like those once made by George Kirkendall or Connie Haden?

best i have used is a modified TT by Koontz. But yes, I generally find the TT boon types to be a lot more reliable in many ways:
Easier writing....easier loading/unloading, pencil breakage is basically eliminated.
